Product Information/Data sheets explained.
Data sheets are a double edged sword, they may be used to make well informed decisions, or they can be misleading.
The key is read the small print, and when it comes to data sheets no small print is not a good thing.
The example below gives a brief guide to what to look for on a data sheet and why it is important, if little or no information of this sort is readily available it raises questions over any performance claims made by that company or it's representatives. The first question you should ask is can I trust a sales person when there is no benchmark to judge their products by. Proper test results give you the information to make good judgement calls.
